Through Sunken Lands is an old school toolkit for designing motley crews of sellswords, sorceresses, and cunning thieves in a deeply atmospheric setting inspired by the works of Michael Moorcock, Fritz Leiber, and Robert E. Howard. Inside the common rooms of the great city’s countless inns, outside the bathhouses near the merchant quarter, and before the altars of a thousand gods, brave adventurers meet and conspire before setting off in search of gold and glory within the Sunken Lands.
Designed for ease of use in mind, with no homework involved, Through Sunken Lands offers a unique player driven setting design for fleshing out the great city and the world beyond. Unique character playbooks, such as Spell Thief or the Eldritch Sorcerer King, and creative scenario packs, along with a sample sword and sorcery setting (the impossible city of Jundarr and the Hundred Seas), offer no-prep solutions for a single evening session of memorable tabletop roleplaying.
The collector’s BRONZE EDITION expands upon the original material, adding two additional character playbooks (The Barbaric Beastmaster and the Daring Adventurer), a new scenario pack (City Intrigue), an updated double sided character sheet, and Heroes of the World: a section for the Game Master full of advice on how to run a Through Sunken Lands game, with plenty of new tables to further develop a character’s background!
