Created and crafted by Caverns of Heresy, Rogueland offers a new rules-light system with flexibility and expansion in mind. Based on Knave, Rogueland utilizes player-facing, roll-high, d20 mechanics, broadly compatible with other OSR source material. Carry interesting items and weapons to define your character, interpret the free-form magic casting system, roll an adventure using the included exploration procedures – then explore the monsters, traps, and treasures of Rogueland!
With a wealth of tables and clever mechanics, Rogueland is a great for generating a new, dark and mysterious world for your players to explore. Optional included named locations / dungeons make setting up a hex map easy, and the on-the-spot GM tools make for great quick adventure creation (or use one of the included adventures!). Rogue Magic gives players a whole new way to utilize and interpret magic while trying to avoid the many dangers that lurk about, and the bazaar offers a range of weapons and armors to aid explorers.
